Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Unixity LLC, operating as Unixity, handles information in its own website, business operations, and communications. Unixity provides software development, IT consulting, technology solutions, and related services.

1. Information we collect

When you contact Unixity or work with us, you may provide your name, email address, telephone number, business contact information, customer support communications, and information about your project. We receive the information you choose to include in those communications.

Our website hosting infrastructure may process routine technical information, such as IP addresses, requested pages, request times, and browser information, to serve the site, maintain security, and diagnose problems.

SMS enrollment is currently being prepared. The website’s SMS form is a disabled preview; it does not submit phone numbers or collect consent records. When consent collection becomes operational, records will include the phone number, consent status and timestamp, consent method, program, disclosure or script version, and opt-out requests needed to administer the program.

2. How we use information

We use information provided in business communications to respond to inquiries, deliver contracted services, provide customer support and technical assistance, communicate with clients, coordinate projects, and maintain our business operations.

Once our optional SMS program is active, information collected for that program will be used to deliver authorized customer care messages, appointment reminders, service notifications, and operational alerts, and to maintain consent and opt-out records.

3. SMS consent

SMS communications are optional. Consent is not a condition of purchasing services. Our SMS Communications page explains the program and its current enrollment status.

The following consent methods are planned and are not active yet:

  • Web forms: voluntarily providing a mobile phone number and selecting a separate SMS consent checkbox that is unchecked by default. The form preview does not currently accept submissions.
  • Verbal consent: a representative reads the complete consent script and obtains an explicit affirmative response, then records that consent and completes enrollment.
  • Text-based consent: texting START to (602) 962-8249 and explicitly confirming enrollment by replying YES.

These methods will only be made available when their corresponding consent-recording and messaging workflows are operational. No permission is inferred from an unchecked box, a general inquiry, silence, or an unclear verbal response.

4. SMS message frequency

Message frequency varies based on client activity and service requests.

5. SMS charges

Message and data rates may apply.

6. SMS opt-out

Once the program is active, customers may unsubscribe from SMS communications at any time by replying STOP. Reply HELP for assistance. You may also contact matthew@unixity.co to request withdrawal of consent.

Unixity will honor withdrawals and stop further program messages through the canceled subscription. Any future platform-level notification settings will only be offered when they are implemented; this website currently has no account notification-preference controls.

7. SMS data protection and non-sharing

Unixity LLC does not sell, rent, or share SMS opt-in data, mobile phone numbers, or messaging consent information with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Authorized messaging infrastructure providers may process phone numbers, consent information, and message data solely to deliver and administer the requested service on Unixity’s behalf. This does not authorize those providers to use SMS consent data for independent marketing.

8. Service providers

Information may be processed by service providers used for website hosting, email, and business communications where necessary to operate Unixity’s services. When messaging launches, authorized messaging infrastructure providers will process the information needed to deliver messages and manage opt-outs. We limit the information provided to the purpose of the service.

9. Information security

We use reasonable measures, including access controls and encrypted network connections, to protect information used in our operations. No method of transmission or storage provides absolute security.

10. Data retention

We retain information as reasonably necessary for service delivery, compliance obligations, and legitimate business purposes. Once SMS enrollment is operational, consent and opt-out records will be maintained as needed to document permission and honor withdrawals. A deletion request may not require removal of a minimal suppression record needed to prevent unwanted messages or records we must retain.

11. Customer privacy requests

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information, as applicable, by contacting matthew@unixity.co. We may need to verify your identity and the information involved before responding. Requests are handled subject to applicable requirements and legitimate retention obligations.

12. Third-party business systems

Unixity develops technology and messaging software for other businesses. Those businesses operate their own messaging programs under their respective registrations and are responsible for their own disclosures and consent practices. This policy applies to Unixity’s own operations and communications; using software developed by Unixity does not enroll you in Unixity’s messaging program.

13. Policy updates

We may update this policy as our services and practices change. The last-updated date identifies the current version. We will update the enrollment descriptions when the messaging workflows become operational.
